Some of you might remember that around this time last year, I wrote a mini memoir on Substack called Reflections from the Midpoint. It was about hitting midlife, taking stock of what I learned and deciding who I wanted to be next.
So many people reached out to me after I published to talk about their own midpoint journeys and what this stage of life is all about. And I could see that a lot of us were going through the same experiences
And asking ourselves a lot of the same questions, even if we weren't talking to each other about it. And for many of the folks that I talked to, the irony was not lost on them that our generation is hitting a major life moment at the same time the world is dipping into crisis again.
So there's a lot going on with us right now, and we should talk about that.
Also, podcasts are so hot right now, and you know I love a good bandwagon.
So here we go.
I'm excited to announce my new podcast, which I'm calling The Midpoint Review. In weekly episodes, I'll be interviewing people in their mid-30s to mid-40s to talk about what life is like for them at this stage. what major realizations they're having about how they want to live, what they want the next half of life to look like, and how we can use this moment of personal and global crisis to chart a new path for the future.
We'll be hearing from people across the board, working in tech, politics, media, entrepreneurs, creatives, and everyone in between on how they're handling this midpoint transition.
What are they holding on to?
What are they letting go of?
What opportunities do they see for this generation at this moment in time?
And how can we make the most of it?
I don't know, but I'm hoping some of these folks might. So smash that subscribe button and join me at The Midpoint Review.
And let's figure out where we go from here together.
